New York Water Taxi, in cooperation with Gateway National Recreation Areaand the New York City Economic Development Corporation have established weekend service between Pier 11 in Manhattan and Riis Landing at Gateway's Breezy Point District in Rockaway. The ferry service will provide close access to historic Jacob Riis Park and Fort Tilden, for activities such as swimming, fishing, sunbathing, cycling, birding, and a wide variety of park and partner programs.

Riis Landing is located @ The Former U.S. Coast Guard Station Just North of Marine Park Bridge at 169 St.
