World's Fair Marina

Address: 125-00 Northern Boulevard, off the Grand Central Parkway, Flushing Bay, Queens

 

The World's Fair Marina is a public marina located at the northern edge of Flushing Meadows-Corona
Park operated by the New York City Parks Department. Originally constructed by Robert Moses for the 1964 New York World’s Fair, the marina today is one of the larger public recreational boating facilities on the eastern seaboard.

The marina is located a short walk north of CitiField
and the USTA National Tennis Center.

 

Directions from the 7 train:

Take the 7 train to the Mets-Willets Point station. Head east on Roosevelt Avenue towards 126th Street. Take the first left onto 126th Street. Take the first right to stay on Shea Road. Turn left onto World's Fair Marina, and the dock is located on the right side.
