The History and Rebirth of Lower Manhattan

Beginning at Pier 84 (West 44th St.), you will travel by New York Water Taxi down the Hudson River to the Harbor for breathtaking views and amazing photo opportunities of the Statue of Liberty in all her splendid glory! Or knowledgeable and entertaining guides will point out all the amazing sights you will see along the way, including the Intrepid Museum and Empire State Building.

Next, you will Hop Off New York Water Taxi at Battery Park in Lower Manhattan. From there, a Licensed New York City Tour guide from Big City Walks will meet you and accompany you to the 9/11 Memorial, where you can walk through and reflect on your own before resuming your guided tour of Lower Manhattan.

Following the 9/11 Memorial, your Guide will then show you both the well-known and hidden treasures of Lower Manhattan on your Walking Tour, including: Wall Street, City Hall, Trinity Church, St. Paul's Chapel and much more!

The tour concludes around 1:00pm at bustling South Street Seaport, where you are then free to continue taking in the sights of Lower Manhattan – or Hop On a New York Water Taxi boat to any one of our locations in New York City.
